W. W. HAINES

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, August 3, at 2:30 o'clock in the Olney Baptist Church for Wm. Wirt HAINES, retired stockman of Olney community. Services were conducted by Rev. Harold Odor, of Elsberry, with interment in the Olney Cemetery. Mr. HAINES had been in ill health for several years, and following his retirement made his home in Elsberry and Troy, prior to entering Pike County Hospital, Louisiana, (Mo j.g.) several weeks ago, where he died Friday August 1.

He was born December 16, 1870, at Millwood, Mo., being 81 years 7 months and 15 days of age at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Ruth EBAUGH, of Washington D. C., who, with the children, Mrs. Charles CHAPPEL, of Troy, and W. W. HAINES Jr., of Olney, survive. He also leaves several granchildren, a sister, Mrs. J. E. DOWNING of Columbia and other relatives.
