Jeremiah P. FRINK DIES

A long and useful life, that of Jeremiah Price FRINK, came to a close Monday night, June 16, following a two week’s illness.

"Uncle Jerry" as he was affectionately called, was known as an unusually hard working man, and worked until the day he became ill.

Mr. FRINK was born September 24, 1863 and was 77 years, 7 months and 22 days old at the time of his death. His father, Julius M. FRINK was born in Ohio, but came to Lincoln County where he was married to Miss Lucy Ann SHELTON of Chain of Rocks.

Mr. FRINK’s wife, Ann HAMLET FRINK, died several years ago. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Frank EVERSMEYER with whom he made his home since his wife’s death, and Tom FRINK of Metropolis, Ill., six grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth, Gene, Dean, and Bobbie EVERSMEYER and Marjorie, Dorothy and Thomas Jerry FRINK.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the Troy Christian Church by Rev. E. E. MORROW assisted by Rev. M. D. DUDLEY. Burial was in the Troy Cemetery.
