W. W. FRAZIER, whose entire life of 85 years had been passed in Lincoln County, succumed Saturday, November 4, to a long illness due to the infirmaties of his age. He is survved by his wife and nine children. Funeral servces were held Monday afternoon in Soule's Chapel where he had been a member for 69 years, interment was made in the Reid Cemetery, near Okete, Rev. A. P. Mathis, pastor of the Methodist Church Clarksville, conducted the services, assisted by J. Calvin Smith, pastor of Elsberry and Mt. Zion A. R. P. churches.

William Washington FRAZIER, son of Ezekiel Davis and Sarah Elsberry FRAZIER, was born in Lincoln County, Missouri, July 28, 1854, and departed this life at his home in Okete, Missouri, November 4, 1939, aged 85 years, 3 months and 7 days. His long life spent in the vicinity of Okete and New Hope. He was converted at the age of 16 years and united with the Methodist Church at Soule's Chapel. He had for many years lived in the immediate vicinity of Mt. Zion A. R. P Church and before his health failed was a frequent attendant of the church with his wife and children who hold membership there.

The marriage of Mr. FRAZIER and Miss Henrietta WHITE took place January 30, 1890. The couple reared a family of nine children, all of whom with the devoted wife, survive the passing of the venerable man. There are also fifteen grandchildren surviving, one grandson having died in infancy. The children are as follows: E. T. Frazier, Okete; Mrs. Monica PAUGH, Palmyra; Leslie FRAZIER, Troy; Bryan FRAZIER, Bowlng Green; Mrs. Osie WILKINS, Paynesville; Mrs. Mary DURHAM, Okete; Mrs. Nellie RYAN, Hannibal; Gertrude FRAZIER at home; and Boyce FRAZIER, of Okete.

All were present at the funeral of their father with the exception of Mrs. PAUGH, who was detained by illness from joining the other members of the family. In addition to these relatives there are a number of nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law, Mrs. Julia WHITE, of Eolia, and a host of friends left to cherish the memory of the departed one, whose life was an open book as he passed in and about neighbors and friends for more than four .. years.
