Obituary for Darla Flynn (1958-1987)

A funeral mass for Mrs. Darla J. FLYNN, age 28, of Troy, will be held today, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James FLYNN. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, Troy.

Mrs. FLYNN passed away Sunday, March 1, 1987, following an automobile accident. She was born October 28, 1958, in Columbia, Mo. the daughter of Robert I. and Velma M. BUENEMAN DUNARD.

Surviving are her husband: Michael T. (Mike) FLYNN; two sons: Michael Francis and Aaron Joseph FLYNN; one daughter: Melinda Dawn FLYNN, all of the home; her parents: Robert I. (Bob) and Velma M. DUNARD of Troy; two brothers: John DUNARD of Cape Girardeau and David DUNARD of Troy; her maternal grandparents: Ora and Helen BUENEMAN of Troy, further survived by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. FLYNN was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Edward and Edna DUNARD.

Visitation was held after 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 1987, at the McCoy and Blossom Funeral Home in Troy where a Christian Wake Service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.

In memory of Mrs. FLYNN, contibutions may be made to the Flynn Childrens Fund, c/o Peoples Bank and Trust Co., E. Cherry St., Troy or the Zion Organ Fund.

Funeral arrangements were handled through the McCoy and Blossom Funeral Home of Troy.
