Rev. Wm. Femmer Dies Suddenly

 

Rev. Wm. A. Femmer, 63 years of age, of Truxton, died suddenly Monday, November 4, as he and Walter Henke were laying some concrete, apparently of a heart attack.

 

He was well known throughout this section of Missouri and the middle west as a minister of the Free Holiness Church.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon, November 7, at the Zion Methodist Church, Truxton, and interment will be in the Zion Cemetery.  The remains will lay in state at the Femmer home in Truxton, until the hour of the funeral, the arrangements being in charge of the Kemper-Marsh Funeral home.

 

He is survived by his wife, Darline Robinson Femmer; four sisters, Florence, Elsa, Bertha and Beulah; 2 brothers, Anton and Charles; and other relatives.  He was a son of the late Albert A. and Annie Witthaus Femmer.

His wife’s name is spelled as Darlene on his death certificate.
