Last Rites for H. H. EVERSMEYER

Funeral services for H. H. EVERSMEYER who died Sunday morning, March 21, at the home of his son, Frank L. EVERSMEYER, in Troy, were held at the Christian Church Tuesday afternoon, March 23, at 2:30, conducted by Rev. B. C. Reavis. Interment was in the Troy city cemetery.

Henry Herman EVERSMEYER was born near Wright City February 7, 1865, and was married to Mary Elizabeth CLARE June 12, 1890. To this union three daughters and two sons were born.

He is survived by his wife, his children, Miss Vira of Hawk Point, Frank of Troy, Ernest of Bellflower, Ruby, now Mrs. Ernest THOMPSON, of near Silex, and Laura, now Mrs. Woodson COMBS of Ponca City, Okla.; seven granddaughters and nine grandsons, eight of whom were pallbearers; and two brothers, Judge J. H. EVERSMEYER of Troy and A. H. EVERSMEYER of Hope, Ark.

Mrs. COMBS, who had been with her father shortly before his death, was unable to come to the funeral because of sickness in her family.

Mr. EVERSMEYER was a businessman, merchant and banker in Hawk Point since its beginning until his retirement three years ago because of ill health.
