William Travis DYER, son of Owen and Margie DYER, was born November 2, 1945, at St. Charles, Mo. He passed away October 23, 1982 at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Travis had reached the age of 36 years 11months, and 23 days.

He attended Buchanan High School, then entered the Air Force February 7, 1966. After an honorable discharge from service Travis entered barber school, and was employed at St. Joseph, Mo. In 1972 Travis moved back to Troy, where he made his home with his parents until the time of his death. Travis will always be remembered for his love of riding horses, because of this he became well known on the Rodeo circuit. After failing health he took up leather arts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie in March 1978.

He is survived by his daughter, Jodi; father, Owen; brother, Wayne; and sister Holly TWELLMAN and her husband Steve; grandparents, Ben and Opal BORGMAN; aunts, uncles, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from McCoy Paul Funeral Home, Rev. Lester ZACHER officiating.
