David Dyer


Died, at his home in Lincoln county, March 8, 1899, of spinal meningitis, David DYER in the 65th year of his age. Deceased was born in Virginia Nov. 23, 1834, and came to this country when a boy of four years of age and until about two years ago was a resident of St. Charles county when he moved to Lincoln, where he resided until his death. He leaves a wife and six children, two sisters and one brother to mourn their irreparable loss. The funeral was conducted by Rev. C.E. HUTCHINS, of Wright City, at the home in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives, from whence his remains were borne and laid to rest in the Wentzville cemetery.
