Obituary for Mrs. Ann Hardesty
aka Angeline (Dorsey) Dawkins

Uncited original clipping from an Oct. or Nov. 1924 Apache, Oklahoma newspaper in the family archives of Patricia SummersSmith, 1998.

Contributor Notes and Corrections:  Text of obituary is included as it appeared in the newspaper.   However, it contained errors.   Mrs. Ann Hardesty was born in "Hardin" county and not "Harding."  W.W. Dawkins lived in "Bucklin," Kansas, not "Buckland."  G.W. Dawkins is known to have passed away in 1883 and not 1882 as stated in the obituary. Her 2nd husband's initials were "F.D." Hardesty and not "F.B." as stated in the obituary.   According to both her death certificate and gravestone, she died 26 Oct. 1924, so the uncited clipping has been dated Oct/Nov 1924.
