H.H. DICKENHORST was born on the Atlantic Ocean Sep.12, 1852. His mother and father having been 6 months crossing the Atlantic from Germany. The family moved to Lafayette Co. Mo. immediately and made their home on a farm. Married; Emily SMITH of Concordia, Mo. May 6, 1878. They moved to Troy, Mo. He went to Herbert Springs, Ak [sic] and lived there until his death, July 1, 1914. Three sons survive him, Walter, Ervin, & Richard and his widow, a son Herbert died Sept. 4, 1904. Member of the Methodist Church.
