Funeral services for Helen C. DAVIS- SCHULZE, of Troy, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills. Interment was in the Friedens/Anderson Hill Cemetery in Moscow Mills.

Mrs. DAVIS-SCHULZE, 82, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

The daughter of Theodore and Daisy Lee (CRAIG) GERDEMAN, she was born May 14, 1916 in Troy. In November of 1935 she married Herman F. DAVIS who preceded her in death on July 31, 1978. On April 20, 1984 in Troy, she married William SCHULZE, who survives.

She is also survived by four sons: Carl W. DAVIS and wife, Carla of Troy, Terry D. DAVIS and wife, Catherine of St. Charles, R.Dale DAVIS and wife, Connie of Moscow Mills, and D.Rickey DAVIS and wife, Rhonda of Troy; two daughters, Connie PEINE and husband, Edward of Wentzville, and Doris J. McCOY and husband, John of Moscow Mills; three sisters, Nita KENNEDY of Troy, Laura HELMICH and husband, Arlie of Moscow Mills and Anna Mae SCHEER of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille MARTIN.

Mrs. SCHULZE was a life time member of the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills. She also owned and operated the Davis Grocery and Ice in Troy for 10 years.

Visitation was 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999 and from 9 a.m. –12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at the Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.
