DAMERON--At the residence of her husband 4 miles west of Falmouth in this county, April 8, 1874, Mrs. Melzena, wife of John D. Dameron, aged 35 years and five days.

Contributor’s note:  According to her tombstone in Thomas Cemetery, Lincoln County, it states her age as 34, 11 months and 26 days, this would make her birthdate April 13, 1839; whereas, her age in the newspaper obituary would make her birthdate April 3, 1839. I suspect the tombstone date is the most accurate.
