MRS. O. H. DAMERON DIES

Mrs. O. H. Damron, widow of the late Dr. O. H. Damron, for many years resident of Silex, died Friday, March 13, at a hospital in Warrensburg, following an illness of several months.

After the death of her husband she moved to Warrensburg to make her home near her son, Dr. Homer Damron, and family. Her daughter, Miss Helen Damron of Los Angeles, Ca., has spent the past several months with her mother. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Brown and Miss Abbie Fortune.

Funeral services were on Sunday afternoon at Warrensburg Methodist Church with interment in the City Cemetery.

Contibutor’s note: The year 1953 is handwritten on the obituary. Her son’s Homer name is actually Oscar Homer Damron, and he also was a physician. The surname (Dameron) spelled on the title of the newspaper article has been typed incorrectly and it is spelled Damron in the body of the article.
