Ivera Damron

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ivera “Minnie” Damron, of Tustin, Calif. and formerly of Troy, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment was in the Mill Creek Cemetery near Silex.

 

Mrs. Damron, 93, died Sept. 30, 1996, at Care House in Santa Ana, Calif.

 

She was born Nov. 15, 1902, in Clarksville, the daughter of William and Arianna Mitchel Mayes.  She was married to Robert L. Damron who preceded her in death in 1964.

 

She is survived by one son, Marion Damron of St. Louis; one daughter, Dona Allen, of Wilcox, Arizona; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Damron was a homemaker.

 

Visitation was held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home, Troy.
