SERVICES HELD FOR L. P. CREECH

Funeral Services for Lafayette Pendleton CREECH of Troy, were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 24, from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home of Troy. The Rev. J. Arnold Bickel was minister. Interment was in the Troy City Cemetery.

Mr. CREECH who was 59 years of age, passed away Saturday evening, July 21, 1979 in the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Creve Coeur, Mo., where he had been a patient for the preceding week. He had been ill for about the past four years.

He was retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corp. of St. Louis. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy.

Mr. CREECH is survived by his wife, Alice of their residence, one step-son, Nicholas MISKOV and two grandchildren, Anne and Nicholle MISKOV of St. Louis, and one brother Dee CREECH of Monroe City, Mo.; other relatives and friends.

L. P. CREECH born at Troy, Mo. Feb. 3, 1920 the son of Charles and Viola CROUCH CREECH.

On August 18,1956 he was united in marriage to Alice MISKOV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Frank SHELKER, three half brothers: Forest , Bill and Clem CREECH all of Troy.

He is survived by ( others than those above.. three sisters-in-law, Dorothy HEITZ and Louise SCHMITT of St. louis and Mary B. CREECH of Monroe City, Mo., his deceased brother's wives, Ann CREECH and Flora CREECH of Troy, and one brother-in-law Rudy HEITZ of St. Louis, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers were Bill Frazier, Carl Weinand, Earl Cobb, Bud Creech, Charles Creech, Larry Weitkamp, Rudy Heitz and Robert Schmitt.
