Services Held For Georgia A. Creech

Miss Georgia Anna CREECH of Troy, passed away in the Missouri Baptist Hospital Monday morning, April 16, 1984, following a lengthy illness. She was 72 years of age. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, Wednesday, April 18, from the Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home in Troy. Lester Schloeman was the minister in charge. Interment was in the Old Alexandria Cemetery, Troy.

Miss CREECH was born near Troy, Mo. May 20, 1911, the daughter of Edgar Burton and Sydna Lee COLBERT CREECH. She became a school teacher in the Lincoln County schools and taught in these schools for 25 years. She later went to St. Ann School District where she taught for 13 years. During her teaching years she furthered her education by taking more college and university courses. Miss CREECH was preceeded in death by her parents. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Owen (Marjorie) RAUCH of Florissant, two nephews, William RAUCH of Buffalo, New York and Robert RAUCH of Florissant, one great-niece, Rene RAUCH and other relatives and friends. Miss CREECH was a member of the Christian Church.
