SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. BLANCHE COPE

Blanche THOMPSON COPE was born August 31, 1887, and died January 11, 1976 at Rosedale Rest Home in Silex, Mo. She was 88 years of age.

She was the daughter of Thomas R.THOMPSON and Sarah G. THOMPSON .

She was united in marriage to Emmett L. COPE Dec. 28, 1910. To this union were 8 children born, six of whom survive. They are three sons, Robert M. COPE of Warrenton, Lowell COPE and Cecil COPE of Hawk Point; three daughters, Ruby Lee CREECH, Maurine KELLERHAUS of Warrenton and Olene WINTER of Truxton; 18 grandchildren and 23 great- grand children; nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband who died January 30, 1938. One daughter, Elfie Eileen, who died in infancy, July 2, 1916; one son, George June 8,1975; one granddaughter and one great-grandson; her parents and two sisters.

Services were held at the Harding Funeral Home in Jonesburg and burial in Providence Cemetery.

Casket bearers were her grandsons.
