Death of Mrs. H. E. COCKRELL

Olivia H. MOORE, daughter of Harvey M. and Mary Eleanor MOORE was born July 14, 1883. She was married to Harry E. COCKRELL on Oct. 5, 1908. The issue from this marriage was one daughter, Elsie Eleanor. Mrs. COCKRELL joined the Presbyterian church of Troy, Mo., when she was a little past 10 years of age.---------(leaving lots out) After Mr. & Mrs. COCKRELL moved to Kansas she was granted a letter of dismissal to the M.E. church, South of Jarbola, Kan., the only church organization in the town and proved an active and efficient member of that church. --------------

Mrs. COCKRELL died at St. John's Hospital Leavenworth, Kan., at 9:30 o'clock p.m. Dec. 26, 1913. Her death followed an operation, performed on Christmas day. Her husband, mother, and brother Tully, were present at the operation, and her mother and father were with her to the end. --------------her last words were, "I am going to be with my sister, Elsie." Her sister died last summer. She urged each one as she told them goodbye to meet her in heaven. Her only regret was that her little daughter, Elsie, was not well and at her side. She left to mourn her departure her husband, H.E. COCKRELL, her little daugher, Elsie, her father, Harvey M. MOORE and mother Mary Eleanor MOORE and three brothers, Dee and Ira MOORE of St. Louis and Tully MOORE of Jarbola, Kan. (skipping much more).......

Funeral services are to be held from the home of her father in Troy. The body is at the Davis Undertaking parlors, seventh and Shawnee streets. All friends are requested to call at the parlors from 10:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon when the body will be removed for shipment to Troy.

[Transcriber's Notes: She was a cashier at the Jarbalo State Bank.
