OBITUARY

William Deaver CLARK, son of James H. and Kathy WILLIAMS CLARK was born near Troy, Mo. on September 22, 1872, and died at his home near Warrenton, Mo. on March 15, 1954, being 81 years, 6 months and 26 days at the time of his death.

He was a descendent of the early settlers of Lincoln County . On November 30, 1898, he was united in marriage to Leora MARTIN. They established their home near Troy and lived there until 1919, when they moved to their home near Warrenton. They lived a very happy life together until July 4, 1940, death claimed his companion. Since that time he has lived alone. A lonesome but seemingly contented life.

He was a member of the Troy Lodge No. 68, Order of the Odd Fellows. He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Eleanor ROBINSON, of Rochester , Minn.; Mrs. Myrtle EAST, of St. Louis; Mrs. Maggie GROSHONG, of Troy; three brothers, James H., of Richmond Cal.; Nat, of St. Louis; and Dick, of Hawk Point, and many relatives.

Funeral Services were held at the Kemper Funeral Home, Troy, Saturday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Herman A. Lehwald. Following the services his remains were laid to rest in the Clark Cemetery by the side of his beloved wife. Burial services were conducted by Troy Lodge No. 68 I.O.O.F., of which he was one of the oldest members.
