Obituary for Mrs. Lou Carter (1860-1887)

CARTER-- May 21, 1887, Mrs. Lou CARTER, of near Troy died. She was born in Hickory Co., Mo. Feb.8, 1860, moved to this co. in 1863, and when 13 years old moved to the place where her father, James M. HUSTON, now resides, md. Lou CARTER 7th of May 1884. Joined the Christan church during the meeting held by Eld. T. A. ABBOTT in Aug. 1885 and from that time on has been a very consistent follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She leaves one babe, a little one year old, very bright and intelligent child. Her funeral was preached at the Christian Church in Old Alexandria on Sun. May 22, 1887, by Eld. T. A. ABBOTT-------
