The Troy Free Press, Troy, MO, 27 September, 1929, page 3, column 3.

[Transcriber's Note:  John CAMPBELL was the husband of Mary Elizabeth MOSELEY, sister of my great-great grandmother Martha Caroline/Carline MOSELEY HASSELFELD.]

John B. CAMPBELL was born in Allegheny County, Maryland, January 24, 1859. His parents moved to Linn County, Mo., when he was a boy six years old. There he grew up to manhood and lived until 1904 when he came to Troy to make his home. He continued to live here until the time of his death, August 27, 1929.
He was married to Mary E. MOSELEY April 13, 1910. He leaves no relatives in this country, but is survived by his wife and many friends.
He was a good husband, companion and neighbor and is sadly missed by all. He was a man of excellent moral qualities and a highly respected citizen.
