Amy Rose BYAS, 47, of Troy, Mo., died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at her home. She was born Nov. 12, 1956, in Bar Harbor, Maine, the daughter of Carl Grant and Julia SILVA HAM. She was married to William BYAS on May 31, 1978, in Columbia, Mo.

She graduated from high school in Jefferson City. She was employed by Dr. Finklang as an optical assistant. She also worked for Pat Adams Counseling Center as a receptionist and worked as a bookkeeper for Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab for five years.

She was survived by her husband, William BYAS of Troy; two sons, Jacob BYAS and wife, Stephanie of Clarksville and Joshua BYAS of Troy; her parents, Carl HAM Sr., and his wife, Dixie, of Jasper, Ark., and her mother, Julia HAM of South West Harbor, Maine; two brothers, Carl HAM, Jr. and wife, Mary of Bloomington, Ill., and Arne CHRISTIANSON of Bar Harbor and one grandchild.

Amy will be cremated and a private service will follow.

Memorials may be made to the Dylan Byas Educational Fund.
