            Wilma LENZ BURKE, 69, of rural Wright City, (formerly of St. Charles) passed away June 23, 1985 at the DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton.

            She was preceded in death by her husband: Edmund BURKE.  They had been in the plumbing business in St. Charles for many years.

            Mrs. BURKE is survived by her mother: Marie BURKE, St. Charles; four sons: Edmund BURKE Jr., El Toro, Cal.; Stephen M. and James L. BURKE of St. Charles and Kevin D. BURKE, Wright City; four daughters: Joan SCHWARZEN, Marthasville; Patricia BASS and Cynthia Mae McLANDSBOROUGH of St. Charles and Mary Alice COLLIER, Harvester; two brothers: George and Stephen LENZ, both of St. Charles; three sisters; Marie FOWLER, Wright City; Helen SCHOEKER and Martha LENZ of St. Charles; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

            Funeral services were held June 26 from the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with interment in the Borromeo Cemetery, St. Charles..

            Prinster-Paul Funeral Home, St. Charles, was in charge of the arrangements.
