Wanda L. BUENEMAN, 60, of St. Louis and formerly of Wright City, died Thursday (Jan. 30, 1997) at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home in Chesterfield after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. BUENEMAN was employed by the Blue Hills Home Corp., where she taught in a private school. She had formerly taught special education and kindergarten at Wright City Elementary School. She and her husband also owned and operated the Bueneman Hardware and Feed Store in Wright City until his death in 1988. She was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and had attended Methodist churches in both Wright City and the St. Louis area.

The funeral was Sunday at the Union United Methodist Church in Wright City. Burial was at Wright City Cemetery.

Among survivors are three daughters, Bobbi MAESTAS and Mary BUENEMAN, both of St. Louis, and Becky BUENEMAN of Seattle; her mother, Myrtle HOLLAND of Hollister, Mo.; a brother, Rick HOLLAND of Dallas; two sisters, Margaret SMITH of Hollister and Nancy PACE of Springfield, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities or to Breast Cancer Research can be made in care of the Douglas E. Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 307, Wright City, Mo. 63390.
