Funeral services for Walter BUENEMAN of Moscow Mills, Mo., were held on Wednesday, March 11, 1998, at the Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home in Troy. Burial was in the Friedens/Anderson Hill Cemetery in Moscow Mills.

Pallbearers were Gene SCHULTE, Norman WORTMAN, Roger KRIEG, Brad HARRIS, Dennis BUENEMAN and Bruce FENNEDY.

Mr. BUENEMAN, 82, died March 9, 1998, at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

He was born June 28, 1915, in Troy to Thomas and Maggie GERDEMAN BUENEMAN. On Sept. 25, 1937, in Moscow Mills, he was married to Eva WESTERMAN. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Grace WORTMAN of Vandalia; one son, W.T. BUENEMAN of Dunedin, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mark WORTMAN of Columbia and Carla WORTMAN of St. Charles; two sisters, Alva DOWELL of Bowling Green and Mabel SCHONECK of Jackson, Miss.; and two brothers, Ora and Marvin BUENEMAN, both of Troy.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene BUENEMAN and two brothers, Elihu BUENEMAN and Julius BUENEMAN.

Mr. BUENEMAN was engaged in farming all his life. He was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ of Moscow Mills.

Memorials may be made to the Friedens United Church of Christ, the Lincoln County Nurses Service, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
