MRS. A. D. BROYLES DIES TUESDAY

Minnie Louann BROYLES, 70 years, 9 months and 16 days, passed away Tuesday at her home in Winfield. She had been ill since January suffering from cancer.

Mrs. BROYLES was a member of the Winfield Baptist Church, the Winfield Rebecca Lodge, and Winfield Home Economics Club. She was City Collector and treasurer for four other organizations.

She served both the Elsberry Democrat and the Troy Free Press for the past 25 years as their Winfield Correspondent.

She was the daughter of William and Sarah (nee Kelly MCINTOSH ) and was born at Winfield July 1,1880. She married Harve HARRELL in 1896.

Surviving are are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Gilford SMITH of Durango, Colo., a brother, W. T. MCINTOSH of Winfield, 8 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Prior to her illness she had not missed a day of Sunday School for four years. She was very active in Church work and very interested in the Cemetery. Everyone thought well of her and she will be missed by all.

Funeral services, conducted by Ricks Funeral Home of Winfield will be held from the Winfield Baptist Church Thursday April 19, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Ivan Beck, Winfield Pastor and Rev. O.C.Cooper of Carbondale, Il. Interment will be in the Winfield Cemetery.
