Mrs. Nancy E. BROWN, wife of Wm. BROWN, died in this city, Nov 14, 1900, after a lingering illness from dropsy. She was a daugher of John WILLIAMS and was born Feb. 15, 1837, about six miles west of Troy. She was married to Wm. BROWN, who survives her, on March 4, 1858. Two sons were born to this union, one dying at the age of 6 years, and the other, Mr. Levi Brown, is a resident of Troy. Mrs. BROWN was a member of the Primative Baptist church, a good Christian woman, a loving wife, and indulgent mother and a good neighbor. Our sympathy is extended the family in their bereavement.
