Funeral services for John Henry BRASSEL, 40, of Dardenne, were held 10 a.m. Sept. 17, 1999, at T.E. Pitman Funeral Home. Fr. Greg Klump officiated. Interment followed in Eternal Peace Cemetery.

Mr. BRASSEL died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at O’Fallon.

Born May 23, 1959, in St. Charles, he was the son of the late Cletus W. and Anna Marie (BERTHOLD) BRASSEL.

Mr. BRASSEL was a machine operator for Fred Weber. He was a member of Local 513 and was active in rodeo and horse trading.

Survivors include two brothers: James (Deborah) BRASSEL of Wentzville and Thomas (Tonya) BRASSEL of Wright City; seven sisters: Mary Ann MUELLER of St. Paul, Pat (Donald) ORF, Susan (Bill) SCHULTE and Debbie SIEGLER, all of O’Fallon, Judy (Roger) BRAKENSIEK of Warrenton, Betty (Dick) EMERT of Troy, and Pam BRASSEL of St. Louis.
