Obituary for Garrett A. Bickel
(1905-1994)Garrett A. BICKEL, 89, a lifelong farmer in Lincoln County, died Thursday (Nov. 24, 1994) at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.
Mr. BICKEL was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Foley. He was buried Saturday at Old Alexandria Cemetery in Troy.
Among the survivors are his wife, Virginia SEGRASS BICKEL; three sons, Karl BICKEL of O'Fallon, Gary BICKEL of St. Charles and Ken Burton of Blue Springs; two daughters, Margaret Ann FOUNTAIN of Sarasota, Fla., and June HERRMANN of St. Peters; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
