Reatha F. BERGESCH, 82, of Moscow Mills, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Troy Manor in Troy.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery in Moscow Mills.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. BERGESCH was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Moscow Mills to William Lewis and Florence Edna (SARTY) MARTIN.

She was married to George E. BERGESCH on June 16, 1940, in Wright City. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Stacy (Sandra) BERGESCH of Moscow Mills; one sister, Fay (Jack) WALZ of Troy; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice.

Mrs. BERGESCH was a homemaker. She and her husband had owned and operated the first florist shop in Wentzville. She was a member of Moscow Mills United Methodist Church. She had been president of the Lincoln County Extension Club Council and had held a national office.
