Obituary for Harry Edward Bergermeir Jr.  (1934-1971)

            Harry Edward BERGERMEIR, Jr., 36, was born in Old Monroe, Mo., September 27, 1934, the son of Harry Edward and Jane Ann CREECH BERGERMEIR.  Most of his life was spent in Moscow Mills, where he lived since he was a small boy.

            He was married to Mrs. Beulah HAYS, Feb. 7, 1959.  They became the parents of two children: Cynde Ann and John Clinton.

            Mr. BERGERMEIR worked in the well drilling business for several years before going into business for himself.  He was a well known coon hunter, and belonged to several coon clubs.  He always had fine dogs, and won many prizes, awards and trophies with them.

            He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Jane Ann BERGERMEIR who passed way December 11, 1970.

            He is survived by his very devoted wife, Beulah, their two children, Cynde Ann and John Clinton, and his father, Harry Edward BERGERMEIR, Sr., all of Moscow Mills; three step-children, Mrs. Lynn HULL, Miss Sharon BOND and Thomas BOND; three sisters: Helen and her husband, John WAGNER of St. Charles, Norma and her husband, Carl POLLARD of O’Fallon, and Dorothy and her husband, Bill DOLLARD of St. Charles, his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil C. BRYANT of Bartlesville, Okla., two brothers-in-law, James and Leonard BRYANT, and other relatives.

            Funeral services for Mr. BERGERMEIR, were conducted by the Rev. Ernest Stiner, pastor of the Moscow Mills Assembly of God Church, Monday from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy.  Lester Schloemann was the soloist and Mrs. Arthur Schemmer was the organist.

            Interment was in the Old Alexandria Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Archie MARTIN, Curly TWELLMAN, Kenneth SCHLEUTER, Bart EPPARD, Charles Arnold BERGFELD and Vernett SHAFER.
