Services for Charles Leland BARRETT, 65, of Troy, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday from St. Stephens United Methodist Church at Troy. The Interment will be in the Troy City Cemetery. The church pastor, the Rev. Ted Matkin, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Robert Turner.

Mr. BARRETT died Saturday morning in the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks, with a heart condition.

He was born in Lincoln County, Feb. 28, 1904, a son of Charles D. and Nellie Mae CRAIG BARRETT. He was married to the former Miss Viola GERDEMAN, who survives. Within the past year, Mr. BARRETT had retired from the McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corp. where he had worked as a guard. Before that he was employed at the TNT plant.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Norma) DAVIS of St. Louis and Mrs. Ronald (Annette) SMULL of Columbia; three granddaughters; three brothers, Wallace BARRETT of Elsberry, Lloyd BARRETT of Troy, and F.D. BARRETT of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Grace GLADNEY of Troy; three nephews and four nieces.

Friends may call at the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home until time of services.
