            Annie Lea BARRETT, 79, of Troy, died May 29, 1988.  She was born Apr 30, 1909, the daughter of John Hunter and   Nora HEADY WILSON.   On Oct 18, 1942, in Troy, she married Francis D. BARRETT.    He preceded her in death on June 10, 1975.

Before retirement, she worked for Mound City Trust of Missouri.  She was a member of the First Christian Church and a charter member of the Mark Twain Literary Club.

            Visitation was at McCoy Blossom Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment in the Troy City Cemetery.

            Survivors include two sisters, Susan “Wibbie” GROSHONG and Johnnie D. CORTELYOU, both of Troy.
