Funeral services for Casper Owen "C.O." ANDERSON, 71, of Moscow Mills, Mo., were held Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. at the Moscow Mills United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Troy City Cemetery.

Mr. ANDERSON died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

Born Nov. 14, 1929, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Casper Owen and Helen (HILL) ANDERSON, Sr. He was married on Nov. 25, 1961, to June WITTE.

Survivors include his wife, June ANDERSON of Moscow Mills; one daughter, Elizabeth ANDERSON of Alliance, Ohio; one son, Tom ANDERSON of Moscow Mills; and one sister, Joyce ANDERSON of Moscow Mills.

Mr. ANDERSON served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a life-long resident of Lincoln County where he was a third generation farmer. He was a member of the Central Democratic Committee and Moscow Mills United Methodist Church. He was also actively involved with the Lincoln County Youth Fair in the past years.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, Troy, from 2 to 8 p.m.

A memorial has been established to the Moscow Mills United Methodist or to the Moscow Mills Athletic Association in care of Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home, P.O. Box 222, Troy, MO 63379.
