Floy ALLEN
Floy Mildred HOWDESHELL ALLEN, 67, of Hawk Point, [Lincoln County--lp], Missouri, died January 11, 1981.
She was born at the family home northwest of Hawk Point, October 20, 1913, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Floyd HOWDESHELL. She was educated in the Copher Grade School and at Truxton School.
On June 25, 1932, she was married to William S. ALLEN, who died August 23, 1977. An infant daughter also preceded her in death.
Mrs. ALLEN made her home at the New Florence Nursing Home., Inc. since her husband's death. She was a member of the Hawk Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Marie DYER of Kansas City, Juanita Faye PFISTER of Jonesburg; two sons-in-law; her mother, Mrs. Floyd HOWDESHELL, three brothers, Johnnie HOWDESHELL, LaVern HOWDESHELL; Robert HOWDESHELL, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives.
Services were held January 13, at the Hawk Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Elven Custis [could be Elvin Curtis] officiating. Burial was in the Hawk Point Cemetery. The Mc Coy - Paul Funeral Home, Troy; was in charge of arrangements.
