Obituary for Frank Henry Admire (1919-1988)

Frank Henry ADMIRE of Moscow Mills, Mo. passed away at 10 p.m. Monday, March 14, 1988 at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He had attained the age of 68 years, 2 months and 16 days. Frank, the only son of David and Pauline OSTHOFF ADMIRE was born on December 28, 1919 in Winfield, Mo. He was baptized as an infant and later confirmed at Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church in Moscow Mills. His mother preceded him in death when he was six month old. Frank was then raised by his Aunt Selma RAHMIER. He never married and was engaged in farming and custom baling for farmers in the Moscow Mills area. He lived on the same farm his entire life until illness forced him to reside at Medicalodge of Troy since May of 1986. Frank was a quiet, soft spoken man, and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by one sister, Rosettia McDANIELS of Starkville, Mississippi, several nieces and nephews, two cousins, Edwin and Herbert RAMIER of Moscow Mills, other relatives and friends from the Troy and Moscow Mills areas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt, Selma RAHMIER and two cousins, Rosettia RAHMIER who died in infancy and George RAHMIER.

Visitation was held after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 1988 at the McCoy & Blossom Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Gary Schulte, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Old Monroe, Missouri. Mrs. Marguerite Schemmer was the organist and she accompanied soloist Gary Locklin as he sang "Abide With Me" and "How Great Thou Art". Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Serving as casket bearers were Richard RAHMIER, Danny RAHMIER, Ricky RAHMIER, Johnny BUSCH, Derreck OSTHOFF and Jess WOOLFORD.

In memory of Mr. ADMIRE, contributions may be made to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.

The Admire family was served by the McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home of Troy, Mo.
