Brown - Jameson Cemetery
Census by:  Bill & Mollie Price, Evelyn Brandon & Curtis Colbert, July 29,1986. 


Location (as given in GBNF Volume 8, page 8):  Located Waverly Twnshp. 51 N Range 2 W Sec 16. Cemetery sets behind Curtis Colbert Home, on land owned by Steven McGinnity. Open range to cattle-several stones down & hard to read. Mr. Colbert said several stones had been hauled to the ditch, for fill.


* Note - there is a very large mound next to this cemetery. Roscoe Brandon & Curtis Colbert expressed the opinion that this was an Indian Burial Mound. Another such mound is located aprox. 1/4 mile away to west of this mound. These mounds are Aprox. 40 ft. across & 6 to 7 ft high.

BROWN:

Mary Jane- Wife of Samuel W. Brown Born---?---183- . Rest of stone was unable to read.

Infant - Son of S.W. & M.J. Brown--No Dates--

Bettie -- Daughter of S.W. & M.J. Brown-- Born 1856 died 1858.

JAMISON:

Samuel - Born Oct. 3,1810 Died Feb. 3,1880

Sarah - Wife of Samuel Jamison Born 1812 Died July 3, 1868

William - Son of Samuel & Sarah Jamison- Died 1858 - Aged 1 yr. 6 mo's.
