Frederick H. COX & Miss Mary L. HILLEARY came here from St. louis Weds. to procure a marriage license and were md. last even, by Rev. J. A. Mumpower at the Methodist parsonage. They went back to the city on the afternoon train.

Wm. H. WELLS & Miss Inez TURNBULL were united in marriage at the home of the bride's father, David TURNBULL Weds, even. by Rev. John T. Mason......They have gone to housekeeping in the handsome TURNBULL cottage on Cherry Street.

Our neighbors can report 2 weddings this week, that of Mr. Earl COLBERT and Miss Maggie CREECH,who were md. at the home of the bride's parents John CREECH and wife, Weds even. Feb. 19, 1908 and that of Mr. Edgar CREECH and Miss Sydney COLBERT, who were married at the home of the the bride's grandparents, Wm. COLBERT and wife Thursday morning Feb. 20, 1908. Walter COLBERT and Miss Florence WATSON were the attendants for both couples and Miss Arti WILLIS played the march for both weddings. Eld. T. C. HARGIS performed the ceremony of each couple....

Mr. Hutt CREECH & Miss Annie CUNNINGHAM were md. at the home of the bride's father, Recorder James H. CUNNINGHAM, sat. morning by Rev. J. S. Eames. They took the morning train for St. Louis, where they will reside and where Mr. CREECH has recently bought an interest in a barber shop.....

Matrimonial

Brevator J.CREECH, of this city, and Miss Mary RICHARDS, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John E. RICHARDS, of Clark township, were married Weds. afternoon at 2:00 in the parlors of the Laclede Hotel, St. Louis, byRev. Taylor Bernard, pastor of the Raymond Place Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was witnessed by John BREVATOR and Miss Kate BREVATOR of Brevator Station; Louis WULF, of Troy and Clerk John H. MURPHY, of the St. Louis Court of Appeals. The marriage was a surprise and we believe there were parental objections, mainly on account of the youth of the contracting parties. Young CREECH, who has just attained his majority, went to St.Louis Tuesday and made arrangements for the marriage and his fiance followed arriving there at 11:0- Weds., where he met her at the station. The young people returned Weds. evening leaving the train at Moscow Mills and going to the home of the bride's parents, and have doubtless been accorded full parental forgiveness........
