BREVATOR.

Is a station on the St. Louis, Keokuk and Northwestern Railroad, forty-five miles from the city of St. Louis. A town was surveyed and laid out here in 1880, but it contains nothing but a small railroad depot. It is situated in Township 48 north, Range 2 east.
