The Wisdom Sisters

The revival at the Methodist church continues with unabated interest, notwithstanding the sudden taking of Rev. Charles Lynch. The meeting is now in charge of Rev. Theo. Copeland, D.D., of St. Louis, assisted by the Wisdom Sisters. These young ladies are the best ever heard in a revival in Troy and do a great deal towards arousng interest in the meeting. Rev. Copeland is delivering excellant sermons and the audiences are large and appreciative. He will leave for his home in St. Louis Saturday, but the meeting will continue for several days longer. ...(no dateline)....

[Transcriber's Note:  no date but my grandmother Jessie Buchanan (Russell) Hutt was a young unmarried girl at the time and was asked to join their group as she had a good singng voice. She was born in 1892 and married in 1912 -j.g.]
