Obituary for Jennie Wing (dates unknown)
No. 149 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.

Mrs. Jennie WING, widow of the late Austin WING, died at her home near Moscow Mills November 4th, after a lingering illness. She was 67 years of age and leaves three grown daughters to mourn their loss, all of whom were present at the funeral. Mrs. WING was born in Virginia and at the age of 19 years came to Lincoln county and settled on the farm, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a good woman with a nobel character and had a legion of friends throughout the county. Rev. M.D. DUDLEY conducted the funeral services at her home Wednesday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the Troy cemetery.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
