Obituary for Frederick C. Sievert (1887-1969)

Frederick Christopher SIEVERT, aged 82, who had lived on a farm near Moscow Mills for many years, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 4th at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since the night before.

Funeral service will be held Thursday morning, Nov. 6th, at 10:30 o'clock at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills, conducted by Rev. Wayne NOWACK. Interment will be in Anderson Hill Cemetery. MCCOY Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. SIEVERT was born March 29, 1887, at Warrenton, but had lived most of his life near Moscow Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara SIEVERT, of the residence; one son, Howard SIEVERT, of Wentzville; two daughters, Mrs. Helen ZUROWESTE, of St. Charles, and Mrs. Mildred BOLLE, of Wentzville; three brothers, August SIEVERT, of Moscow Mills, Henry SIEVERT, of Warrenton, and Edward A. SIEVERT, of Troy; two sisters, Mrs. Louise HASEKAMP, of Wright City, and Mrs. Minnie THILKING, of Levasy; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. 


Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
