Obituary for Mrs. Mary Cottle (dates unknown)
No. 031 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.

Mrs. Mary COTTLE, wife of Lloyd B. COTTLE, died at her home in Moscow Mills Tuesday noon, aged about 70 years. Mrs. COTTLE had been in failing health for some time, although she was seriously ill only a few days before her death. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Bud POLLARD and Mrs. Chas. HILL. She was a well-known resident of Lincoln county and previous to moving to Moscow Mills a short time ago, the family resided at Old Monroe. The funeral occurred from the house Thursday morning to Union church near Ethlyn, where services were conducted by Rev. M.D. DUDLEY.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
